The curve reflecting the relationship between the no-load electromotive force 0 and the excitation current f is called the no-load characteristic of the synchronous generator. Fuel is delivered to the fuel filter by the deep-well pump, where it passes through a paper filter element to remove impurities before entering the interior of the filter canister. It then flows through the oil recess on the filter housing to the deep-well pump for injection. The filter housing is equipped with a return oil fitting, containing an overflow valve. When the fuel pressure in the fuel filter exceeds 0.08 MPa (0.8 kgf/cm²), excess fuel returns to the fuel tank through the return oil fitting. The low-pressure fuel supply lines should be connected in the direction indicated by the arrow on the housing, and must not be connected incorrectly. The bottom seal of the filter element is mounted in a spring seat, which presses the seal against the bottom of the nut for sealing purposes. The filter housing is connected to the outer shell with a bolt, sealed with an O-ring. The top of the filter housing has a vent screw plug, allowing the user to loosen the vent screw to remove air from the fuel filter during operation.

Fuel filters are secured with two screws to the engine or bracket. If the user notices a lack of smooth fuel supply during operation, there may be a possibility of the filter element being blocked.
