Sand separator, also known as a dry land sand separator ship or sand and gravel separator, is a sand and gravel separation equipment suitable for rivers, reservoirs, and coal yards. It consists of the hull, frame, reducer, conveyor belt, rotary sieve, engine or motor. This model features a simple structure, cost-effectiveness, and ease of operation. It is categorized into drum-type sand separators, water-washed drum-type sand separators, and vibration sieve-type sand separators, among others. The sand separator is a type of operation in the screening system. The screening system agitates the raw materials through continuous rolling by spiral blades, pushing and friction within the mixing drum. It ensures even mixing. Structurally, the drum sieve is horizontally placed, with the material flow between the spiral blades of the sieve drums exceeding 5 turns, allowing the sand to roll repeatedly and be fully dispersed. This design avoids the缺点 of uneven screening in inclined roller sieves or inclined vibration sieves. The sand separator mimics the principle of manual sand screening using an inclined sieve mesh, utilizing a horizontally placed drum sieve and ensuring that the material flow can continuously roll for more than five turns within the spiral blades of the sieve drum, allowing the sand material to repeatedly roll and slide, fully dispersing and separating. It differs from inclined drum separators, which cause the large and small materials to push and press against each other, leading to a hasty screening process; and it is also different from inclined vibration separators, where large and small materials vibrate and mix.
