The landscape pine base invests considerable effort in pruning and planting density to maintain price levels of landscape pines. The price of landscape pines is affected by pruning conditions. The purpose of pruning is to arrange lateral branches in layers on the trunk, with each layer having 4 to 6 branches extending in different directions, with an interlayer distance of 30 to 50 cm. The selected lateral branches are retained and protected, focusing on the new growth of the landscape pine. The landscape pine base maintains price levels by pruning rationally.

Additionally, the price of landscape pines is affected by planting density. In cases where the planting density of landscape pines is too low, it not only impacts the yield of seedlings per unit area but also affects the open space between seedlings, resulting in low land use efficiency and a propensity for weed growth.
