Mount Tai Welcoming Pine

Taishan Welcoming Pine, the First Magnificent Pine of Huangshan, is listed in the Exemplary Gardens Heritage List. It stands on the east side of Jade Screen Peak, above the Manjushri Cave, breaking through the rock, with a lifespan of over a thousand years. Its posture is robust, with branches and leaves spread flat like a canopy. The two main branches stretch out diagonally, as if welcoming guests with outstretched arms and nodding to friends from all over the five seas. They may stand tall, stretch out diagonally, or bend; they may tilt, bow, or lie flat; some resemble a black tiger, while others are like a peacock... They adorn Huangshan, making it even more mystical and beautiful.

The迎客松has a unique posture with its twisted branches, likened to a "natural bonsai" by visitors. It stands like a green giant there, accompanying tourists in admiring the beautiful scenery of the Yellow Mountains. Its long "arms" stretch towards the mountainside, as if reluctantly waving goodbye to the visitors.

The Welcome Pine is located to the left of the Jade Screen Pavilion, sprouting from the Lion Rock, towering at 10 meters and with a trunk diameter of 0.64 meters. Its age is at least 800 years, with one branch reaching out like an arm welcoming guests from afar. It exudes elegance and grace, making it a signature sight of the Yellow Mountains.
