Background of the Program:
The National Standard GB16423-2020 for Safety Regulations of Metal and Non-metal Mining Operations has been implemented as of September 1, 2021. Section 6.7.7 on Communication and Monitoring clearly stipulates that a dedicated communication cable should be used for wired dispatch communication systems; the dispatch telephone should be directly connected to the dispatch exchange and safety barrier using mining communication cables, and it is prohibited to use the earth as a loop. The underground dispatch telephone should not be powered locally underground or connected to the dispatch exchange via an active repeater. Additionally, requirements are set for the underground communication system, which should have two communication cables, each entering the underground from a different shaft; any one of these communication cables must meet the communication needs between the underground and the surface.

Solution:
This dual-circuit dispatch communication solution integrates dispatch command, internal communication, broadcast calling, comprehensive alarm unification, and functions such as recording, force disconnect, force insert, all call, group call, direct line, and one-touch dialing. It also supports 10-kilometer long-distance transmission, multimedia touch screen dispatch consoles, and digital noise-canceling amplification telephones, along with dispatch unit, conference unit, and recording unit business software. The communication cables are separately routed through different shafts into the underground wiring equipment. In the event of a fault in any communication cable, the other cable can promptly take over to ensure uninterrupted underground communication.

The underground phone can accommodate two telephone lines, providing dual circuit protection for the communication channel. Each extension user has two channels, the main shaft and the auxiliary shaft. In the event of a break or short circuit in any line, the other line ensures that the extension communication remains normal, and the dispatching system prompts the corresponding line fault, facilitating timely maintenance and handling.
Solution Advantages:
The system features a modular design, supporting up to 1792 loop-side extensions/repeaters, with 32 E1 interfaces. The E1 signaling protocol is configurable to NO.1, PRI, and NO.7 signaling, and it also supports VOIP trunks and SIP extensions. It is compatible with PCM remote fiber optics, 2M, and network extension, and supports decentralized installation for flexible networking in various environments. The system utilizes a combination of extension and trunk modules, allowing customers to configure the specific number of extensions and trunks to meet their needs. It enables command and dispatch personnel to conduct operations through multimedia means and can be highly integrated with various business systems, enhancing the intelligence and automation of command and dispatch operations.
