Electric Drum Brake EMB-STOP S-P-xx-F covers medium braking torque and was initially developed for small wind turbines, still in use today. Due to its response time of 550 ms, the brake is suitable for applications that require protecting the transmission system from excessive torque peaks and where reaction time is not critical.
