The plastic track, also known as the athletic track, is composed of polyurethane prepolymer, mixed polyether, waste tire rubber, EPDM rubber granules or PU granules, pigments, additives, and fillers. The plastic track features good flatness, high compressive strength, appropriate hardness and elasticity, and stable physical properties, which are conducive to athletes' speed and technique, improving athletic performance, and reducing the rate of falls and injuries. The standard track is 400 meters long and should consist of two parallel straight sections and two equal-radius curves. In addition to the grass track, the inner side of the track should be demarcated by a curb made of suitable material. The curb should be approximately 5 centimeters high and at least 5 centimeters wide. 2. The runway length should be measured 30 centimeters beyond the outer edge of the runway curb. If there is no curb, measure 20 centimeters beyond the outer edge of the marking line. 3. For all races of 400 meters and under, each athlete shall have one lane. Lane width is to be no less than 1.22 meters and no more than 1.25 meters. Lane lines shall be 5 centimeters wide, with all lanes being of equal width. Note: The width of the lane should include the right-hand lane marking. The construction of plastic tracks is carried out on asphalt or concrete foundations, with the base preparation being roughly similar to road construction. The surface flatness of the base is required to be high to ensure consistent thickness of the plastic surface layer and even elasticity. The quality requirements for the foundation are as follows: Grade: Lateral <1 (curve 8‰, straight 5‰, semi-circle 5‰), longitudinal <1‰, high jump area <0.4; surface should be flat and smooth, with good drainage. Flatness: The pass rate for flatness exceeds 95%, with a 3-meter straight edge deviation of 3mm. Positioning: For accurate construction and marking, use sturdy and prominent markers to indicate the four tangent points of the half-circles and the two centers of the runway area. Drainage: The drainage system discharges accumulated water within two hours after heavy rain. In frozen areas, a geotextile buffer layer is added between the asphalt and gravel layers. Special waterproofing treatment should be applied to the base of the drainage channels. Strength and Stability: The base should possess adequate strength and stability, with a smooth and even surface, free of cracks and ragged edges, and seams that are straight and smooth. The cushion layer should be compacted with a density greater than 95%, and after being pressed by a medium-sized roller, there should be no significant wheel tracks, loose soil, or wave-like phenomena. Runway Features Color: Polyurethane granules, with a soft surface hue, granular texture, preventing glare from bright sunlight, aesthetically pleasing and durable, with options for multi-color combinations. Economic: Maintain ease, save on governance expenses. Adhesion: Special construction treatment ensures strong bonding, prevents moisture rise, and eliminates air bubbles and peeling phenomena. Flatness: Constructed with self-leveling materials, the surface is flat and can meet the requirements for particularly flat sports venues. Impact Resistance: Features a robust elastic and cushioning layer that can absorb strong impacts without damaging the surface. Nail resistance: Will not be damaged by spikes or starting blocks even at the frequently used 100-meter starting point. Wear resistance: Will not fail to recover due to the heavy pressure from track and field equipment. Abrasion Resistance: Less than 2.5 abrasion resistance meets the needs of long-term use and high frequency operation at all levels. Impact Absorption: Moderately absorbs foot impact, reducing sports injuries, suitable for both long-term training and competitions.
