United Innovation Technology's Polyurea Products Aid in Waterproofing Project for the Winter Olympics Media Reception Center — Yanqing Splendor Cloud Valley Hotel

The 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games, held from February 4th to February 20th, marked the 24th edition of the Winter Olympic Games, jointly hosted in Beijing, China, and Zhangjiakou, Hebei Province. Beijing was responsible for all ice events, while Yanqing and Zhangjiakou hosted all the snow events. This was the first time China hosted the Winter Olympics in its history, making Beijing the first city in Olympic history to host both the Summer and Winter Olympics.

As the Winter Olympics countdown approaches, the roof waterproofing project for Yanqing's Brilliant Yunqi Valley (a guesthouse hotel), undertaken by our company, has been successfully completed and inspected first. Located in Yanqing, Beijing, the hotel is a signed venue for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics and will be responsible for accommodating the media center reception and support. Covering an area of over 40,000 square meters, the roof waterproofing work, which our company was in charge of, has now been delivered smoothly.

Supporting the Winter Olympics, providing guarantees for the media center

On July 21, 2021, the 3,150-square-meter polyurea waterproofing spray project on the roof of the Beijing Yanqing Honghuayu Valley (a guesthouse-style hotel), which the company was contracted to build, officially commenced. The COVID-19 pandemic to some extent restricted the progress of the project; however, all construction workers fully demonstrated the spirit of the Iron Army and gave their all to achieve the goal of completing the hotel, contributing to Beijing and presenting the world with an extraordinary and spectacular Winter Olympics.

After a 3-month battle, the roof waterproofing project for the Winter Olympics Media Center—Beijing Yanqing Splendor Cloud Valley (a guesthouse hotel) has been successfully completed and passed the acceptance inspection.
