The Bus-Way-System, a new circuit method developed in the United States, features conductors made of copper or aluminum, supported by non-flammable insulation, and then mounted in a metal槽 to form a novel conductor. Its first practical application in Japan was in Showa 29 (1954), and since then, the busway has seen development. Now, it has become an indispensable wiring method for electrical equipment and power systems in high-rise buildings and factories.
In recent years, due to the increasing demand for electrical power in buildings, factories, and other structures, the traditional conduit wiring method has presented numerous challenges during construction. Moreover, making it easier to alter the distribution system is nearly impossible. However, using busbars can easily achieve this goal, while also enhancing the aesthetic appeal of the structure.
In terms of economics, busbars are more expensive than cables, but when compared to the entire electrical system including various accessories for wiring, using busbars can significantly reduce construction costs (see simplified diagram), particularly in high current capacity applications.

Busbar Channel Advantages:
Due to the use of copper bars or aluminum as conductive materials in busbars, they offer high current capacity and excellent electrical and mechanical properties. Additionally, being encased in a metal槽, they are non-combustible and have a long service life. Compared to traditional distribution systems, these busbars significantly reduce the required space and offer an aesthetically pleasing appearance, greatly benefiting the construction and distribution in large buildings. In summary, busbars possess the following characteristics:
1. The current capacity can be quite large.
2. Voltage drop is minimal.
3. High short-circuit load capacity.
4. Long lifespan
High safety standards
6. Equipment additions or changes to the power distribution system are flexible and随意.
7. Compact in size and dimensions.
Lightweight and easy to operate;
9. The connection is extremely simple (similar to connecting water pipes, where sections are connected into a system using tees, elbows, and other joints), as shown in the following illustration;
Construction and inspection are simple.
11. Features modern aesthetics.
