    The BLIL principle of operation is as follows: Based on the tunnel parameters and blasting design from a pre-established database, after the total station auxiliary positioning is completed on-site, BLIL will calculate and process the distance data through the device software, automatically analyze and compute, and project the standard cross-sectional profile required for the current construction mileage pile number.

    During initial support, arching beams can be projected according to the distance instructions for the corresponding working face position, guiding workers to accurately install the arches as designed, thereby achieving the established engineering design and quality objectives.

    Significant economic benefits. BLIL accurately provides the edge contour position, effectively preventing the missing points caused by mud and water erosion during tunnel construction, which leads to overexcavation or underexcavation. By quickly and accurately locating the blasting design contour, it is beneficial to improve the blasting effect, reduce the consumption of explosives, rock removal, initial concrete spraying, and secondary concrete, thereby saving a substantial amount of funds.

    2. Significant improvement in construction efficiency. BLIL can continuously construct 100m after a single installation before repositioning. Normally, it takes ≥0.5h to measure and provide points for one cycle of work, with 40-50 cycles being completed in a month, saving over 24h of measurement time. If arch frames need to be set up, it can be done two days earlier.

    BLIL is compact (host unit: 27cm x 24cm x 26cm), lightweight (10kg), and can be installed in just 30 minutes, allowing for installation during construction breaks without disrupting other processes. The equipment is suitable for tunneling construction methods in railway, highway, subway, and water conservancy projects. Both straight and curved tunnels are applicable.
