| Diaphragm pressure gauge temperature characteristics |
Due to the diaphragm pressure gauge system using sealed liquid as the medium for pressure transmission, the temperature expansion of the sealed liquid system causes the pressure gauge to show higher values as the temperature increases under pressure. The temperature influence is related to the expansion coefficient of the sealed liquid, the diaphragm stiffness, and the temperature rise of the pressurized section, which also increases the gauge values. This effect is more pronounced in low-range pressure gauges. Generally, the temperature error in the pressurized section is specified not to exceed 0.1% per degree Celsius. Therefore, the total temperature influence on diaphragm pressure gauges is usually the sum of the general instrument temperature influence and the temperature influence of the pressurized section of the diaphragm assembly.
| Diaphragm meter corrosion resistance |
The corrosion resistance of diaphragm gauges can be ensured by appropriately selecting the material of the diaphragm, flange, and sealing gasket in contact with the measuring medium.
