Principle of Operation for a Stainless Steel Reactor Vessel

The stainless steel reaction kettle is composed of the kettle body, kettle cover, jacket, agitator, transmission unit, shaft seal device, and support. The materials typically include carbon manganese steel, stainless steel, zirconium, nickel-based (Hastelloy, Monel) alloys, and other composite materials. According to the manufacturing structure of the reaction kettle, it can be categorized into three main types: open flat cover reaction kettle, open welding flange reaction kettle, and closed reaction kettle.

       Stainless steel reaction kettle stirrers generally come in anchor, paddle, turbine, propeller, or frame styles. When the aspect ratio of the stirrer is high, multi-layer paddle blades can be used, or customized according to the user's requirements.

       The sealing types of stainless steel reaction kettles vary and include: packed gland, mechanical seal, and magnetic seal. The heating method is electric heating, with cooling options of jacket cooling and kettle internal coil cooling.

       Stainless steel reactors are widely used in the petrochemical, rubber, and food industries. They serve as pressure vessels for completing processes such as vulcanization, hydrogenation, hydrocarbonation, polymerization, and condensation, including reactors, reactors, cracking pots, and polymerizers, etc.
