　The function of surface mount capacitors:

1. Filtering function

In the power circuit, the rectifier converts AC into pulsating DC, and after the rectifier, a larger electrolytic capacitor is connected to utilize its charging and discharging characteristics, transforming the pulsating DC voltage into a relatively stable DC voltage. In practice, to prevent changes in the supply voltage of various circuit components due to load variations, electrolytic capacitors of tens to hundreds of microfarads are generally connected at the output end of the power supply and the input end of the load's power supply. Since large electrolytic capacitors typically have some inductance, they are not effective in filtering out high-frequency and pulse interference signals. Therefore, a capacitor with a capacity of 0.001 to 0.1pF is connected in parallel across its terminals to filter out high-frequency and pulse interference.

2. Coupling effect

During the transmission and amplification of low-frequency signals, capacitive coupling is commonly used to prevent the static operating points of the two stages from affecting each other. To prevent excessive loss of low-frequency components in the signal, capacitors with larger capacitance are generally used.
