I. Overview

The flat load test is an in-situ testing method that applies load to the soil beneath a pressure plate in increments over a certain area, to measure the pressure and deformation characteristics of the soil. It reflects the conditions beneath the pressure plate.Comprehensive properties of soil strength and deformation within the diameter range of 1.5-2.0 times the bearing plate. Suitable for testing clay, silt, sand, and gravel soils, etc. This equipment uses an umbrella frame for resistance and is equipped with an automatic anchoring system. The setup of the umbrella frame is simple, fast, cost-effective, and provides strong resistance. It is controlled by a wireless system using a precise hydraulic control system, with an indoor computer controlling the loading and unloading. This ensures operators have a comfortable control environment and precise data collection, in compliance with the Ministry of Construction's GB50021-2001 code for geological and geotechnical investigations.
