BQH18(A) Intrinsically Safe Mining Encoder

I. Application and Usage Scope

Speed closed-loop control is indispensable in coal mine automation systems, particularly for equipment like mine hoists, multi-purpose belt conveyors for personnel and materials, and monorails, which have high requirements for speed feedback. Implementing speed closed-loop control enhances the reliability of system operation. For this purpose, the BQH18(A) explosion-proof encoder for mining applications (hereinafter referred to as the encoder) is essential in closed-loop control or speed protection systems. This encoder can be used in conjunction with the electrical control units of equipment such as mine hoists, multi-purpose belt conveyors, and monorails, or it can be used independently as a speed measurement and protection device for hoists, monorails, and belt conveyors.

  

II. Environmental Conditions for Use

Environmental Requirements:

a. Environmental Temperature: 0℃ to +40℃

b. Average Relative Humidity: Not greater than 95% (+25℃)

c. Atmospheric Pressure: 80kPa to 106kPa

d. Applications with no significant vibration or shock.

e. Coal dust and explosive gases are present in the underground coal mine environment.

f. In environments free of severe dampness, waterlogging, or corrosive gases that damage insulation.

IV. Model Meanings

c. Flange Installation Dimensions: Fixed screw hole center distance is φ90mm (can be customized according to customer requirements).

d. Screw: M4x20 (4 screws).
