Centrifugal Screw Film Evaporator Overview
Screw blade film evaporators are high-efficiency evaporation and distillation equipment that utilize high-speed rotation to distribute liquids into a uniform film for evaporation or distillation. They can also perform deodorization, degassing reactions, and unit operations such as heating and cooling. Suitable for industries including food, light industry, petrochemicals, chemical engineering, and environmental protection.
Performance and Features
This equipment utilizes a centrifugal sliding groove rotor, which can form a film even at low flow rates. The adhered sediment in the inner surface of the drum's evaporative section can be quickly removed by the moving scraper. Compared to a fixed gap scraper evaporator, the evaporation capacity can be increased by 40-69%. It features the following performance and characteristics:
1. High thermal conductivity, large evaporation capacity, with evaporation intensity reaching up to 200 kg/m2·hr, and high thermal efficiency.
2. Material heating time is short, approximately 5 to 10 seconds, and operates under vacuum, which is more beneficial for heat-sensitive materials, ensuring no decomposition of any components.
3. Wide adaptability to viscosity changes; capable of handling both high and low viscosity materials; material viscosity can reach up to 100,000 centipoise (CP).
4. Changing the scraper groove rotation direction can adjust the material's residence time in the evaporator.
5. The inner wall of the evaporator tube body is precision bored and polished, making the surface less prone to coking and scaling.
6. User-friendly operation, easy to adjust product specifications; capable of continuous production under sealed conditions.
7. The equipment occupies a small footprint, has a simple structure, is easy to maintain, and clean.
