The "Eight Prohibitions" for dock cranes, which specifically include:
The driver in the operation room is strictly prohibited from driving without a license.
(2) Personnel are strictly prohibited from passing under or through the lifting path of the suspended objects.
(3) When the crane at the dock is lifting, it is strictly prohibited for personnel to stand in its blind spot to prevent any danger or accidents.
(4) Personnel must not stand on the lifted cargo or the hook; it is extremely dangerous.
(5) Absolutely no heavy-lifting swing or rapid drop is allowed during the hoisting process.
(6) Personnel are strictly prohibited from inserting their hands or feet under the suspended cargo to retrieve or place padding.
When operating the crane at the dock for lifting, there are some precautions to take. When the cargo is lifted off the ground and the height from the ground is within 0.5 meters, the operation should be halted to check if the brakes are responsive and reliable. The lifting height should not be excessive, and collisions should be avoided.
