Routine inspection of the external wire rope on the crane at the dock
The crane at the dock must operate safely and normally, with the wire rope accessories playing a crucial role. Before the machinery is started, the rope inspection cannot be rushed; it must be checked sequentially from the outside in, following the prescribed procedures.
External inspection involves a full-length examination of the wire rope, with the following inspection points:
1. Operation of wire rope and the fixed connection area at the end of the wire rope.
2. Bypass the rope sections on the balanced pulley and drum.
3. Areas that may be damaged due to external factors (such as hatchways, aprons, etc.).
