A tire-type crane is a rotating crane that operates on a tire-type undercarriage. It is a full-rotary crane with the lifting mechanism mounted on a special undercarriage consisting of reinforced tires and axles. The upper structure is essentially the same as that of a crawler crane. To ensure stability during installation, the crane is equipped with four telescopic legs. On flat ground, it can perform light lifting operations and transport loads at low speeds without using the legs. It consists of two parts: the upper part for lifting operations, which includes a boom, hoisting mechanism, jib, counterweight, and turntable; and the lower part for support and movement. The upper and lower parts are connected by a rotating bearing. When lifting, it is usually necessary to lower the legs to increase the support area, level the crane body, and ensure stability.
