Daily maintenance and care for electronic weighbridges is crucial. To extend the lifespan of the weighbridges, the editor will now introduce some maintenance methods:

Mechanical Parts:

The gap around the electronic weighbridge platform must be free of any foreign objects, allowing for smooth movement. If any foreign objects are caught, they must be thoroughly cleared away.

2. Regularly clean the scale platform surface to maintain cleanliness (suggestion: repaint the scale surface annually).

Every six months, maintenance should be performed on the connecting components, and after cleaning the bearing head, apply lubricating grease.

4. No welding is permitted on the electronic weighbridge platform, nor should it be used as a grounding wire.

5. The limiting gap between the sensors and weighing platform is 2-3mm. If the gap is not appropriate, it must be adjusted.

6. No water should accumulate in the foundation pit. In case of waterlogging due to heavy rain or other reasons, the water should be immediately pumped out or the drainage channels cleared, and the instruments can only be powered on after drying measures are taken.

7. Oversized vehicles must not exceed a speed of 5 km/h, and it is prohibited to make abrupt and emergency stops on the weighing platform.

8. The total weight of the vehicle and cargo should not exceed the rated weight.

Employees of the electronic weighing room should ensure:

1. Daily platform visual inspection.

2. Limit Adjustment (Q1).

3. Load Relief Bolt Clearance Inspection (every six months).

4. Connector Position Inspection (bi-annually).

5. Terminal Box Sealing and Connection Inspection (Annual).

6. Inspection of components that may affect the normal operation of weighing devices (daily).

7. Inspection of instruments and instrument errors (every six months).

Instrumentation section:

We maintain the appearance of our weighing indicators, printers, and computers to be clean and dust-free.

2. Regularly inspect for loose or broken wires, and ensure that grounding wires are securely fastened.

Keep the junction box dry and clean, and regularly dry and replace the desiccant inside. If there are water droplets inside, use a hair dryer to dry them.

4. When the instrument is in its gross weight state and the empty scale is used, if the zero pointer does not light up, it should be zeroed out before weighing.

5. The electronic weighbridge is regularly inspected and verified by the Legal Metrology Administration.

6. At the end of the day, disconnect the weight indicator and other electrical appliances from the power source.

7. Sudden power outage; instruments require 5 minutes to restart.

No arc welding operations are allowed on the weighing platform.

Regularly clean the weighing platform surface, ensure there are no stones, coal pieces, or other foreign objects caught in the gaps around the platform or at the bottom.

10. Power must be disconnected during off-hours, and the weighing platform surface should not be left with vehicles or goods for extended periods.

11. Weighbridge operators are now certified and on duty after undergoing training.
