Product Overview

Open-type cooling towers are categorized into: Cross Flow Open-type Cooling Towers, Counter Flow Open-type Cooling Towers, and Circular Open-type Cooling Towers.

 

Working Principle

By spraying recycled water onto the glass fiber filling in a mist form, heat exchange is achieved through contact with air, and then the fan drives the air circulation within the tower, carrying away the heated air that has been heat-exchanged with water, thereby achieving cooling.

 

Features of Cross Flow Open Cooling Tower

Material: Glass fiber reinforced plastic, using high water-resistant resin; the tower's outer panel is coated with a surface paint and colored paste containing VVS light stabilizer.

2. Filler: Made by vacuum forming with high-quality PVC flat sheets. Features include a large specific surface area, low air flow resistance, good hydrophilicity, and high thermal dissipation coefficient. It boasts assembly with strong bonding, resistance to clogging, ease of cleaning, good flame-retardant properties, and resistance to aging.

3. Structure: Under the same cooling efficiency, larger cooling tower body size, larger heat exchange area of the packing, and larger fan diameter result in lower fan speed and reduced fan shaft power, thereby saving operation costs for the user.

4. Low Noise: High-quality sound-dampening materials and transmission components effectively control mechanical noise; the pool-type sprinkler distributes water, and a cover is installed on the water pool to reduce water flow noise; the large tower design and small fan noise ensure the cooling tower operates at low noise levels.

5. When assembling two or more units, it is recommended to add a connecting equalizing pipe to balance the chassis water level.

 

Counter-Flow Open-Circuit Cooling Tower Features

1. Structure: Modular design adopted for optimized structure, ensuring reasonable size and flexibility in selecting single or multiple units for any assembly configuration based on installation site. Long distance between intake and exhaust outlets prevents heat recirculation, resulting in high heat exchange efficiency, and performs well in areas prone to freezing in winter.

2. Filler Material: Utilizes improved flame-retardant PVC virgin material for the fin material, featuring features such as airflow guidance, heat dissipation, water collection, easy cleaning, and convenient assembly. The large surface area accelerates cooling speed, and increased efficiency means a reduction in the demand for fan motors.

3. Heat Transfer: Achieves designed cooling efficiency,漂水率≤0.001%, with innovative appearance; low noise, small footprint, corrosion-resistant, and long service life.

4. Fan: Equipped with a low-speed, large chord length, and wide-blade aluminum alloy fan. The low-speed design at the same efficiency ensures the fan operates with low noise. The blade angle is adjustable, allowing for flexibility in adapting to various climatic conditions.

5. Water Distribution System: Square counterflow cooling tower with a tubular water distribution system and triple-jet nozzles. Even distribution, no clogging, and low water pressure. Uniform spray of the sprinkling water, excellent heat exchange effect.

 

Circular Open-Circuit Cooling Towers Features

1. Structure: The overall structure is robust yet lightweight, constructed with reinforced fiberglass (FRP) for the body and water pan, which is resistant to corrosion. The surface coating includes UV inhibitors, providing resistance to sunlight damage, anti-aging, and color fading, ensuring long-lasting durability.

2. Heat Transfer: An inverse heat exchange process between circulating hot water and cold air entering the tower, with excellent heat and mass transfer efficiency, high performance.

3. Splash Rate: Equipped with a specially designed PVC splash barrier, it offers excellent splash prevention and minimal pressure drop loss, with splash loss below 0.001%.

4. Special Design Sprinklers: These sprinklers have a large diameter, preventing clogging, while ensuring excellent water distribution. Installed internally within the tower, they are protected from external dust and debris pollution.

5. Filler: Utilizes honeycomb vacuum-formed PVC heat sinks with grooved surfaces for interlocking arrangement, providing a large area and excellent airflow passage, with superior heat exchange performance. The component structure is lightweight and easy to install.

6. Catch Basin: The basin features an inclined design for easy cleaning, minimal water capacity, and lower operating weight.
