Single Layer Plate and Frame Filter Working Principle and Features

The working principle of a single-layer pressure filter is a new type of filter machine with a simple structure and easy operation (hereinafter referred to as the pressure filter). The bottom metal mesh of the pressure filter supports the filter cloth (membrane), with the liquid feeding from top to bottom, passing through the filter elements and exiting at the bottom. Impurities are intercepted on the surface of the filter cloth (membrane). The filter material can be selected with different materials and precision based on the type of material. Characteristics of the single-layer plate pressure filter equipment:

1. High filtration precision. The filter mesh is lined with filter cloth, allowing the material to be filtered directly through the cloth, achieving clear liquid after a simple cycle. Additionally, a pre-coating of diatomite or other auxiliary filtration agents on the filter cloth is possible, thereby preventing issues like diatomite leakage, penetration, or filter layer shedding that are common with traditional diatomite filters.

2. Suitable for both positive and negative pressure. During filtration, pressure can be applied through a pump (positive pressure) or a vacuum pump can be used to create negative pressure. Even for particularly thick materials, both upward and downward pressure can be applied. 3. Stable filter cake layer. The filter cloth is laid horizontally on the filter mesh, ensuring the stability of the filter cake layer and preventing the occurrence of cake shedding.

4. High slag-holding capacity. When the material is limited and impurities are easily filtered, it can form a thick filter cake layer, allowing the equipment to intercept a large amount of impurities. 5. No residual liquid, no filter cake residue. The material in the tank can be completely compressed out using compressed air. Subsequently, gas is blown into the C-chamber to dry the filter cake.

6. Easy Discharge. The press filter is designed with an easy-to-open cover for discharge and assisted by a cylinder for discharging. After drying the filter cake, the lower cover can be opened or closed with the cylinder, saving labor and providing convenient operation.

7. Detachable cleaning for seamless hygiene, meeting sanitation standards.

8. Economical Filtration Materials. Filtration materials are typically common filter cloth, affordable, and also recyclable.
