Ruiju Diaphragm Metering Pumps: Common Malfunctions and Solutions

Diaphragm metering pumps are unable to dispense the medication; reasons for this issue include:

Filter and tubing for medication clogging.

Solution: Simply clean it.

2. The ball valves at the inlet and outlet of the drug chamber were blocked by foreign objects.

Solution: Simply clean.

3. The ball valves at the inlet and outlet of the medicine dispensing port have poor sealing, resulting in air leakage.

Solution: Give the ball valve a few firm twists to ensure a tight fit with the base.

4. The sealing rings at the in and out drug ports have become loose or fallen off.

Solution: Be cautious when inspecting, as there are four above and below.

5. Diaphragm damage.

Solution: Replace and reinstall.

6. Linkage assembly seized.

Solution: One is to repair it by disassembling the connecting rod assembly, smoothing out rusty areas with a file, and then applying lubricant. The other option is to replace the connecting rod assembly with a new one.

Motor burned out.

Solution: Replace.

8. Adjusting the cam to the "0" position results in zero flow, preventing the medication from being dispensed.

Solution: Adjust the cam to ensure the scale is not at 0.

Traffic has not reached the required level. The reasons for this issue include:

I. The product had the maximum flow rate (at the "10" position) upon factory shipment, but the flow rate decreased due to an adjustment of the cam.

Ball valves at the in and out drug ports have been blocked by foreign objects, resulting in reduced flow (relatively minor debris). Solution: simply clean them.

The concentration of the medication in the solution may have slight variations, as our products are tested in-house with plain water as the standard.

Filters and tubes for medication are clogged (due to relatively small foreign objects). Solution: Simply clean them.
