Product Introduction

CA High Polymer Fireproof and Moisture-Proof Sealant is made primarily from ethylene silane, blended with a certain proportion of coupling agents, flame retardants, and ceramic powder, through copolymer modification and a special mixing process. Thanks to its unique proportion and mixing process, it boasts excellent fireproof and flame-retardant properties. Particularly, before curing, it remains in a liquid state, allowing for free flow and filling gaps, demonstrating exceptional performance in sealing, waterproofing, and moisture-proofing.

CA High Molecular Fireproof and Moistureproof Sealant, as an innovative high molecular sealant material utilizing a high molecular polymer blending technology, boasts a high fire resistance grade (A4) and flame retardant grade (UL94-5VA), excellent weather resistance and stability, remains shape and quality stable after curing, and does not crack or degrade. Its effects are long-lasting, and it can be tightly bonded with various metal materials and cable jacket materials without causing any adverse chemical reactions.

Instructions for Use

CA high polymer fireproof and moisture-proof sealant is in liquid form before curing, with excellent fluidity. It can automatically level and fill gaps without manual intervention and does not require additional water and electricity assistance, making the construction process very convenient and quick. To meet different construction environments and requirements, this product specifically designs the curing agent (B agent) to be adjustable in the curing speed of the finished product by varying the mixing ratio.

Curing Method

This product is supplied in a two-component form. During application, mix A and B components according to the temperature at the application site and the dosage chart in the correct ratio. Additionally, some settling may occur during transportation and storage, so it is necessary to stir the product before use. Ensure that the A and B two-component mixture is thoroughly mixed and uniform before pouring it into the target sealing area.

After thorough mixing, this product can be directly injected/dispensed into the container requiring curing. The cured product typically cures automatically at room temperature.

Construction Techniques

1. Utilize methods such as pouring, brushing, and rolling for application.

2. When working in the terminal box, the power supply to the lighting and heater must be disconnected first to prevent electric shock and short circuits. Ensure proper grounding and take isolation measures for operating equipment, strictly avoiding accidental contact with live components and terminal strips.

3. The height of the cable being irrigated above the sealing layer with this product is 10-20mm.

4. The fire-resistant separator is fixed on the top side of the cabinet bottom to support the pouring of fire and moisture-proof sealing agent. The 7-shaped aluminum strip is used to frame the cable holes within a range of ≥40mm around the perforated cable, forming a geometric shape. The bottom gap of the aluminum strip is tightly wrapped with silicone putty to enhance the aesthetic appearance of the fire and moisture-proof sealing.

5. First, use a long-neck bottle to fill the gap between the cable bundles with high polymer fire and moisture-proof sealing agent, then pour the sealing agent into the geometric shapes, allowing it to automatically level in the aluminum frame. The structural thickness of the sealing agent must exceed the surface of the upper fire barrier by >8mm and maintain a geometric shape.

6. The dedicated grounding copper strip at the bottom of the terminal box is not less than 50mm from the bottom for easy sealing.

7. Identify sealed areas, organize terminal box cables or labels, and clean off any surface dust or rust.

8. Clean the terminal box wall surface of debris, oil stains, and loose particles with a cleaner.

9. Inspect the bottom of the box for any gaps or holes, and initially seal it using fire-resistant board. Form a square frame around the cables with aluminum strips, and secure the strips to the bottom of the box with glue, sealing the aluminum strip frame.

Prepare the product in accordance with the mixing ratio, mix it thoroughly, then slowly pour it into the target aluminum strip frame, allowing the sealant to self-level on the surface.

11. The sealing agent automatically flows into the cable gaps and levels out the surface, then waits for the sealing agent to cure. It typically takes about 30 minutes to set, and three hours for a rigid curing effect.

12. This product should be bonded densely and firmly with cables and surfaces of holes and gaps. The surface should be smooth, with reasonable and aesthetically pleasing dimensions in geometric shapes, free of cracks, falling off, or shedding.

13. This product is securely sealed, with no light leakage, air leakage, cracking, or peeling. The surface is flat and smooth.
