Features and Performance
Organosilicone flame-retardant heat-conductive high-voltage insulating coatings are made by high-temperature polymerization technology using special organosilicone rubber and other high-performance nanomaterials, featuring the following distinct characteristics:
(1) High-voltage insulating coatings with excellent performance effectively prevent short-circuit faults caused by small animals commonly found in sub-stations and electrical accidents resulting in personal injuries due to live, exposed conductors.
(2) This paint boasts excellent thermal conductivity, efficiently dissipating equipment heat to prevent heat accumulation and excessive temperatures. It is non-flammable, self-extinguishing, and exhibits significant flame-retardant properties, reaching FV-0 rating.
(3) This coating boasts strong adhesion, filling gaps between the coating and equipment to become an integral part. It effectively prevents corrosion from acids, alkalis, salts, and atmospheric conditions. It features moisture resistance, hydrophobicity, ozone resistance, radiation resistance, UV resistance, and aging resistance, allowing for maintenance-free long-term operation with an extended service life.
(4) In-situ molding for ease of use, short construction period, suitable for surface protection of special-shaped equipment and components, as well as insulation treatment for special electrical junctions.
(5) Non-toxic, non-polluting, and non-corrosive. Thus, the use of this insulating paint not only enhances the insulation level of busbars but also does not affect the normal operation of busbars or the selection of insulators.
2 Technical Specifications
This product meets the requirements of insulation protection, heat conduction, flame retardancy, and temperature and moisture resistance for equipment and components in the electrical, power, and related industries. It has passed the routine inspections and type tests conducted by Wuhan High-Voltage Research Institute, Tianjin Electric Research Institute, and North China Electric Research Institute (for detailed technical specifications, please call for inquiry).
3 Application Scope
Suited for equipment and components requiring external insulation, thermal conductivity, flame retardancy, and moisture protection in high-voltage power transmission and distribution systems, such as busbars, wall penetration conduits, high-power motors, dry-type transformers, switchgears, and cable heads. Particularly applicable to electrical components operating in polluted and humid environments.
This product boasts excellent construction properties, offering significant sealing and protective effects on the surfaces of components with complex geometric shapes. Its physical and chemical indicators outperform those of heat shrinkable sleeves.
4. Usage Instructions
Thoroughly clean the surface of the area to be coated, removing dirt and oil/grease, ensuring it remains clean. This product is a single-component paint, which should be evenly applied to the equipment or component areas requiring protection using a brush or similar tool. Typically, a single coat application results in a thickness of 0.5mm, but the number of coats and layer thickness should be adjusted according to actual needs. The coating should not have any missed spots, drips, or strings. When opening the paint, if not fully used, it should be immediately sealed and stored for future use.
5 Packaging, Storage, Transportation
Products are packaged in sealed metal tubes or plastic drums. Store in a dry and well-ventilated area, protected from direct sunlight and rain. Shelf life is 6 months. After the shelf life, the product can still be used after re-inspection and approval. Store and transport as non-hazardous goods.
