Vacuum Double Cone Rotating Vacuum Dryer Commissioning

After the vacuum level is adjusted, the following operations can be performed:

Power on the vacuum cone rotatory vacuum dryer, at this point, the power indicator light should illuminate (for models 6090 and 6210, open the temperature control instrument switch separately). The temperature control instrument undergoes power-on self-check.

Temperature is measured in the PV screen display room, while the SV screen shows the temperature set at the time of shipment. The lights on the temperature controller, such as AT and HEAT, should be illuminated, indicating that the instrument has entered the heating operational state.

Edit Settings Temperature

1. Press the SET button on the temperature controller; after the PV screen displays the SP character, use the keyhead buttons to modify the set temperature (for models 6090 and 6210, the instruments 2 and 3 should be adjusted separately).

No changes to be made; similar entries apply.

After making the modifications, press the SET button. The PV screen will display the ST character, setting the timer time. If the timer function is not to be used, leave ST=0.

Press the SET button again to display the workshop temperature on the PV screen and the new set temperature on the SV screen. The AT and HEAT lights on the gauge will illuminate, indicating that the gauge is now back in the heating operation mode.

If the moisture level in the double-conical rotary vacuum dryer within the workshop is high, the resulting water vapor can affect the performance of the vacuum pump. It is recommended to install a separator between the double-conical rotary vacuum dryer and the vacuum pump.

If nitrogen or other inert gases need to be added during the process of the item being dried in a twin cone rotary vacuum dryer, it should be noted in the contract, and an additional intake valve should be provided.

As the workshop temperature approaches the set temperature, the HEAT light flickers on and off, indicating that the heating has entered the PID regulation stage. Occasionally, the instrument may measure the temperature exceeding the set temperature.

Sometimes, temperatures below the set point are normal. After the measured temperature approaches or equals the set point, wait for 1-2 hours before the workshop reaches a stable temperature.

Items have entered the stage of the twin cone rotary vacuum dryer.

When the required temperature is lower, a secondary setting method can be used, such as setting the initial temperature to 60℃ for a required working temperature of 70℃, then waiting for the temperature to overshoot and begin to drop.

Setting the temperature to 70°C can help reduce or even eliminate the phenomenon of temperature overshoot, allowing for a quicker transition to a stable, constant temperature.

Upon completion of the double cone vacuum drying machine, turn off the power. If an accelerated cooldown is desired, open the vent valve to achieve a vacuum level of 0 and wait for approximately 5 minutes before opening the chamber door.
