Grain Binder Structure Composition

The granulator is mainly composed of feeding, mixing, granulating, transmission, and lubrication systems. Its operating process requires blending powders with a moisture content not exceeding 15%.

From the hopper into the feeding screw, the material flow is adjusted by varying the speed of the variable-speed motor, then it enters the mixer.

Through stirring rods, the mixture is agitated with steam for tempering. If molasses or oil is needed, they are also added to the mixing drum for tempering with the steam.

The fat addition rate is generally not more than 3%, otherwise, it is difficult to shape. After tempering, the temperature of the powder material can reach 64-85°C, and the humidity can reach 14-16%.

Then, the mixed powder passes through a chute and is further processed by an optional magnetic separator to remove iron impurities, before entering the granulation chamber.
