Is additional protection required for the flexible aluminum alloy KBK crane when used in damp or slightly corrosive environments?

Generally, no additional complex protection is required. Aluminum alloy inherently possesses excellent corrosion resistance, and with the equipment's tracks and other components undergoing special surface treatment, they can withstand moisture, salt fog, and minor corrosion in typical industrial environments. Even after long-term use in such conditions, rusting is unlikely to occur. However, in extreme corrosion environments with high concentrations of strong acids or alkalis, it is recommended to add protective covers to reduce direct contact of corrosive gases with the core components of the equipment, thereby further extending its service life.
