What are the prerequisites for safe use of a dryer?

Ensure all moving parts, such as bearings, conveyor belts, and V-belts are checked for damage before starting work. Any issues should be promptly repaired or replaced.

2. Lubrication maintenance: add lubricating oil every 100 hours for hot air blowers and every 400 hours for cold air blowers. Replace and maintain with grease every 1000 hours for electric motors. The lifting and conveying machine bearings require lubrication oil top-up during each shift maintenance.

3. Maintenance of Wearable Parts: Bearings, bearing bases, hoist buckets, and screws on hoist buckets are prone to loosening and should be regularly inspected and maintained. Regular checks and replacements are required for conveyor bearings and belt connectors. Electric components and moving parts should be frequently serviced. Safety should be a priority when inspecting the top of the tower.

4. Seasonal maintenance: After each working season, the dryer should be maintained by cleaning the internal air ducts, loosening the tensioning wire of the hoist, cleaning the adhered debris from the fan blades, and clearing the sediment pool in the hot air furnace exchanger, as well as cleaning each tube in the tube bank. The speed control motor and speed gauge should be reset to standby.

5. If the dryer operates outdoors, appropriate rain and snow protection measures must be taken. The entire unit requires a comprehensive maintenance and inspection annually, and a repaint protection is necessary every two years.
