Product Introduction:
The rotary kiln for lime is a new type of active lime rotary kiln developed based on the calcining characteristics of limestone, and by absorbing and referencing similar rotary kilns domestically and internationally. This model of rotary kiln (optional with vertical preheater and vertical cooler to form an energy-saving rotary kiln calcining system) features high raw material utilization rate, complete calcination, uniform quality, good quality, large production capacity, high operation rate, energy saving and environmental protection, easy operation, and long overall lifespan.
Working Principle:
Limestone is fed into the kiln through the tail end (high end) chute, where it rolls along the circumference while also moving axially from the tail end (high end) towards the head end (low end) due to the kiln's inclined and slow rotation. Fuel is injected into the kiln at the head end (low end) through burners for combustion, transferring heat to the limestone via radiation, convection, and conduction. As the limestone moves, it is calcined into quicklime, then discharged from the head end. The high-temperature flue gas enters the tail end dedusting system.

1. The main drive system utilizes a new AC variable frequency speed control technology, which is more energy-efficient and environmentally friendly compared to traditional electromagnetic and DC speed controls. It offers a wider speed range, higher efficiency, and superior speed accuracy with smooth operation.
2. The bases of the roller support and stopper wheel support devices have been welded and post-welded stress relief has been achieved through vibration aging treatment. Then, they are processed integrally using a large vertical lathe and boring-milling machine, ensuring the precision and geometric tolerances of all parts. This significantly enhances the installation accuracy and reliability of the entire unit.
3. In response to the characteristics of limestone and the requirements of its calcining process, an overall structural optimization design has been implemented for the kiln head and tail sections, addressing the common issues of tail-end return material and dust leakage in similar rotary kilns, ensuring smoother and more natural material transport.
4. Utilize finite element analysis software for thermodynamic calculation and analysis of the kiln cylinder, ensuring a specific gap between the wheel rim and the cylinder. This guarantees a seamless, tight fit between the cylinder and the wheel rim during normal operating conditions (hot state), effectively enhancing the cylinder's rigidity while preventing necking due to excessive tightness.
5. Limestone heats evenly, ensuring stable product quality with low overburning and unburning rates, especially suitable for calcining high-activity limestone for steelmaking.
6. The bearing housing of the roller support device is pre-drilled with a temperature measurement interface, allowing for easy connection of a temperature measuring device and enabling full-automated detection of the equipment's operating condition.
7. Flexible process configuration allows for vertical pre-heaters at the kiln tail to fully utilize the high-temperature flue gas produced by the rotary kiln firing, preheating limestone from room temperature to the initial decomposition state. Additionally, vertical coolers can be installed at the kiln head to rapidly cool the high-temperature lime, enhancing product activity and facilitating transportation and storage.
