1 Overview

Transformer Capacity- Characteristic Tester, capable of outputting a low-voltage three-phase sine wave inverter power supply without external power supply, for transformer capacity testing. The instrument itself can provide working power for the test section, eliminating the need for external power supply, making transformer capacity testing more convenient and quick.

Transformer capacity test cannot be connected to an external AC test power supply.Transformer characteristic tests require connecting a sufficient power external AC test power source for the test.

This instrument features a battery remaining power monitoring function to prevent over-discharge of the battery, thereby extending its service life.

This instrument not only expands the capacity testing range but also intuitively displays the national standard range, making transformer capacity testing more直观. It is capable ofCapacity testing and type identification for SG, SC series dry-type distribution transformers and single-phase distribution transformers.

The instrument can be used with external test power sources, allowing for no-load and load tests of distribution transformers in accordance with national standards, and determining transformer capacity and type.

2 Main Functions and Technical Parameters

2.1 Main Features and Characteristics

2.1.1 The instrument can output a three-phase sine wave inverter power supply, allowing transformer capacity test to be conducted without an external AC power source, and automatically determines the transformer capacity.

2.1.2 The instrument's built-in battery operates without an external power source and can be charged using an external adapter charger.

2.1.3 The instrument can perform capacity judgment for single-phase, three-phase arc furnace transformers and special transformers.

2.1.4 The instrument can perform capacity judgment for dry-type transformers and single-phase transformers.

2.1.6 To facilitate measurement and ensure transformer safety, the transformer capacity can be measured at a non-rated tap position.

2.1.7 The instrument is equipped with a real-time clock, recording test time at any moment.

2.1.8 This instrument can measure transformer parameters such as no-load loss, no-load current, load loss, impedance voltage, etc. It also measures the true RMS values of three-phase voltage and current, as well as active power. The transformer no-load test can automatically capture the set-point test data.

2.1.9 Connectable to CTs and PTs for measuring large transformers, all data is displayed as direct reading values.

2.1.10 No-load tests can accurately measure parameters under set values without voltage adjustment.

2.1.11 Load tests can be conducted with measurements under reduced current, and the current will be automatically converted to the rated value.

2.1.12 Instruments automatically convert load loss, impedance voltage, and other test results for different types of transformers to 75, 80, 100, 115, 120, and 145°C.

2.1.13 Equipped with a 7-inch large-screen touch LCD, full Chinese menu-based human-machine interface, tabular data management, and easy-to-operate Chinese prompts.

2.1.14 The instrument can automatically determine the rated capacity of the transformer based on test parameters and calculate the deviation from the standard.

2.1.1The instrument features software calibration capabilities, allowing for automatic calibration of voltage, current, power, and phase.

2.1.16 Utilizing high-speed thermal printers for on-site printing of test results.

2.1.17 Stores up to 1000 sets of transformer capacity test data and 1000 sets of transformer characteristic test data; power failure does not result in data loss, and information is accessible at any time.

2.1.18 The instrument can monitor battery power, ambient temperature and humidity, and display the battery power percentage.

2.1.19 The instrument features voltage and current harmonic testing capabilities, monitoring2-25Harmonics, and display harmonic reports and bar charts.

2.1.20 Test data is available.Directly read into the PC via USB port, or save to a USB flash drive, then read into the PC from the USB flash drive.CThe backend management software features data reading, data management, report generation, and printing capabilities.

2.1.21 Equipped with Bluetooth,WIFIOptionalGPRS(Optional) Multiple interfaces for communication with smartphones or tablets, allowing users to directly control the instrument via their mobile devices. Data can be stored on smartphones or tablets, with the software on these devices offering features such as location tracking, photo-taking, control, and data management. (This feature is an optional expansion feature.)
