DC Resistance Tester

I. Overview

The measurement of the winding's DC resistance is one of the routine tests for transformers, primarily to check the integrity of the connections or mechanical characteristics between windings and between windings and leads, as well as the balance of resistance among the phases, to ensure the safe operation of the transformer.

Our company has developed and produced a series of DC resistance testers for transformers.The 32-bit ARM core serves as the processing core, controlling the entire unit and automatically completing self-calibration, steady current judgment, data processing, and resistance value display functions. It can measure the DC resistance of various types of transformers and current transformers, facilitating the use of staff.

II. Safety Measures

1、 Always read this manual thoroughly before using this instrument.

2、 The operator of the instrument should have general knowledge of the use of electrical equipment or instruments.

3、 This instrument can be used both indoors and outdoors, but should be kept away from rain, corrosive gases, excessive dust, and high temperatures.For direct sunlight areas.

4、 The instrument should be avoided from severe vibration.

5、 Maintenance, care, and adjustment of the instrument should be performed by professionals.

6、 After testing, first turn off the power, then disconnect the test wires.

7、 Measure the unloaded voltage regulator transformer, always wait for the discharge indicator to stop before changing the gear.

8、 During testing, the test clips and power lines must not be moved.
