Transformer Precautions

1、 Please connect the working circuit according to the tests you have conducted. The transformer's housing and the housing of the operating system must be reliably grounded. The high-voltage winding of the test transformer must be...XEnd(High-pressure Tail)and measure the windingFThe terminal must be reliably grounded.

2、 During cascade testing, the low-voltage windings of the secondary and tertiary transformers.XEnd, measure the windingFEnd and high-voltage windingXEnd(High-pressure tail)All shells of the transformers at this level are connected. The shells of the secondary and tertiary test transformers must be grounded through insulating brackets.

3、 Before connecting the power supply, the voltage regulator of the operating system must be adjusted to zero before the power can be connected, the switch closed, and the voltage increase commenced.

4、 Start from zero and rotate the pressure regulator's handwheel uniformly to increase pressure. Methods for increasing pressure include: the rapid pressure increase method, which is20sStep-up method; Slow-rising voltage method60sStep-up method; optional ultra-slow step-up method. Voltage starts from zero and rises at a specified rate and speed to the desired rated test voltage.75%Afterward, at a rate of2%Increase the rated test voltage to the required rated voltage, and closely monitor the readings on the measuring instruments as well as the condition of the item under test. If any abnormal indications on the measuring instruments or condition of the item under test are observed during the voltage increase or testing process, immediately reduce the voltage, disconnect the power supply, and investigate the situation.

5、 After the test, the regulator should be returned to zero position at a uniform speed within a few seconds, then the power should be cut off.

6、 This product must not exceed the rated parameters. Full voltage power on or off is strictly prohibited, except for necessary testing.

7、 When using this product for high-voltage testing, in addition to being familiar with this manual, it is essential to strictly adhere to national standards and operational procedures. Refer toGB311-83"Insulation Coordination for High-Voltage Transmission Equipment, High-Voltage Testing Technology"; "Preventive Testing Regulations for Electrical Equipment" etc.

Operation Instructions for Control Box:

1. Connect the operation box, transformer, and test item according to the test requirements.

2. Set the overcurrent relay current value and the timer relay time value according to the normal test current required for the sample and the voltage endurance time.

3. Plug in the power source, the green light illuminates, and turn the voltage regulator handle to the zero position.

4. Press the start button, one main circuit closes, and the voltage regulator is powered. Rotate the voltage regulator handle clockwise to increase the voltage. Pay close attention to the voltage gauge, and when it reaches the specified withstand voltage of the test item, press the timer button and monitor the condition of the test item.

5. When the pressure timing is up, the operation box automatically emits an alarm. At this point, immediately rotate the regulator handle counterclockwise to zero, press the stop button and the timing button. The red light goes out, and the green light comes on. The test is then complete.

6. In the process of boosting or pressure resistance, if overcurrent occurs due to short circuits, flashovers, or breakdowns, the overcurrent relay will trip and cut off the main circuit. At this point, the voltage regulator should be rotated counterclockwise to the zero position.
