I. Application

This refining flux is used for various brands of brass and bronze during melting for refining, degassing, and slag removal purposes (such as: yellow brass, manganese brass, cupronickel, silicon bronze, aluminum bronze, tin bronze, etc.), as well as for refining, covering, and slag removal in the melting processes of copper cast bathroom fixtures, copper ingots, copper bars, copper wires, copper strips, copper tubing, and copper valves.

II. Product Features

Strong degassing and slag-removing capabilities, good separation of slag from copper melt, loose float slag that is easy to remove. Notable grain refinement effect, enhancing the mechanical properties and surface quality of copper alloy castings. Improved surface finish for items requiring polishing, such as sanitary ware and craftworks, and increased airtightness and pressure resistance. The product emits minimal smoke and odor during operation, with the slag appearing as a dry powdery substance, loose and light, easy to separate from the copper melt. This product does not erode melting furnaces, crucibles, or melting tools.

The addition of this product constitutes 0.2-0.5% of the brass alloy liquid.
