Storage Conditions
1. Temperature: Desiccants should be stored in an environment with temperatures between 5°C and 40°C. Both excessively high and low temperatures can damage the desiccant, affecting its performance.
2. Humidity: The storage environment for the release agent should have a humidity below 60%. Excessive humidity can cause contamination and caking on the surface of the release agent, thereby affecting its use.
Avoid direct sunlight: Place the release agent in a cool, dry area to prevent direct sunlight exposure, which may cause decomposition or deterioration.
Section II: Storage Environment
The warehouse selection: The storage facility for demolding agents should be dry, well-ventilated, and kept away from fire sources and flammable materials.
Packaging Intact: Molding release agents should be packaged in good condition, free of any damage or leakage. During storage, avoid stacking too high or applying excessive pressure.
3. Anti-humidity Measures: In humid environments, it is advisable to add an anti-humidity agent to maintain the desiccant's dryness.
Storage Duration
1. The shelf life of mold release agents is typically one year. During storage, if any changes in the properties of the mold release agent are observed, such as changes in appearance, off-putting odors, or loss of even coloration, use should be discontinued immediately.
2. Desiccants should be used on a first-in, first-out basis. If they are not used up by the expiration date, they should be used or destroyed promptly.
Four: Cautionary Notes
Keep away from mixing with other chemicals to prevent reactions or damage to the release agent.
2. When storing, the mold release agent should be kept in a location separated from harmful substances such as food and feed.
3. Prior to use, the release agent should be inspected to ensure it has no odor, even color, and a smooth surface, among other normal characteristics.
Proper storage is crucial for the effectiveness and longevity of release agents. Adhering to the correct storage methods ensures safety and stability during use.
