If the product is liquid and requires desulfurization, dilute the desulfurizing agent with water at a ratio of 10 to 20 times, then slowly add it to the liquid product while stirring.
Industrial Grade Desulfurizing Agent
Sulfur Removing Agent Chemical Properties: White or slightly yellow spherical fine powder, odorless and tasteless. Density: 5.47g/cm³, relative density 4.42-4.45. Melting point: 1800°C, insoluble in water and alcohol. Slightly soluble in ammonia. Soluble in dilute acid and sodium hydroxide. Reacts with 30% hydrogen peroxide, releasing carbon dioxide and forming peroxides.
Sulfur Removal Agent Product Uses: Primarily used as a raw material for sulfur removal agents and catalysts in the man-made silk industry, widely applicable in rubber products, paints, and other chemical products. In oil drilling, it reacts with H2S to form a stable, insoluble ZnS, and does not affect the mud properties when added, thereby effectively eliminating H2S contamination and corrosion. It serves as an inhibitor and sulfur removal agent for H2S-containing oil and gas wells. It can also be used industrially as a light-weight astringent and in the preparation of calamine lotions.
Food-grade desulfurizing agent
This is a colorless, odorless white crystalline powder that can safely and effectively remove residual SO2 from food, controlling the SO2 content to meet national hygiene standards, enhancing food quality, and preventing secondary pollution. It is used in the processing of edible mushrooms, bamboo shoots, vegetables, fruits, candied fruits, rice noodles, and flour products, as well as in the processing of medicinal herbs and wooden chopsticks. Additionally, it is suitable for the removal of residues from sulfites such as sodium metabisulfite, sodium sulfite, and sodium thiosulfate used as bleaching agents.
After the product has been treated with sulfites for color, it should be rinsed with clean water and then soaked in this cleaner. Before use, dilute the cleaner with 10-50 times its volume of clean water, then soak the treated item in the diluted solution for 15-30 minutes, or dilute with water at a ratio of 100-200, soak for 1-2 hours, then retrieve and rinse with clean water. The dilution ratio of the cleaner should be determined based on the residual SO2 content in the treated item. A higher concentration of the cleaner enhances its ability to remove SO2. It can reduce the residual SO2 content in the treated item from 1000mg/Kg to below 20mg/Kg, even to 0.
