Phosphorus Remover is a chemical agent added to wastewater to form insoluble salts of phosphates, which then aggregate to separate from the water, effectively removing phosphorus. This process reduces the phosphorus content in treated water to below the threshold without altering the original water treatment process or requiring additional large-scale water treatment facilities. It is simple, cost-effective, and yields significant social and economic benefits. The three main methods of using phosphorus remover.

1. Determining the Dosage Amount

The determination of phosphorus scavenger dosage is based on several factors: the size of the original water phosphorus content, the types of phosphorus in the original water, the size of the designed effluent phosphorus content (effluent phosphorus national standard), and the designed phosphorus removal efficiency (phosphorus content after dosing). The dosage determination requires experiments at the pilot and medium scale, or to verify through medium-scale tests based on the experience values from similar projects, ensuring that the effluent meets relevant regulatory requirements.

2. Direct addition method

The method of adding phosphorus-removing agents in solid or powdered form directly to water bodies without dilution, however, has certain limitations: first, the pH of the water body must be acidic; second, there must be a mixing device in the water body, otherwise the phosphorus-removal effect is very limited, as the phosphorus-removing agent does not adequately come into contact with the water body, thus preventing sufficient chemical reactions with phosphorus. Therefore, this method is more suitable for wastewater treatment plants.

3. Diluted Addition Method

Dilute the solid or powdered phosphorus remover to a certain proportion and directly add it to the target water body. This method has a wider application range.
