High-voltage electrostatic discharge poses an electric shock risk, endangering personal safety.

(4) Production sites with high concentrations of flammable and explosive materials, dust, or oil mist are highly prone to causing explosions and fires.

Secondly, the dangers posed by electrostatic attraction (ESA):

Electronic industry: Dust adsorption causes pollution of integrated circuits and semiconductor components, significantly reducing yield.

(2) Film and Plastic Industry: Causes uneven winding of film or film, and dust contamination on film or CD discs, affecting quality.

(3) Paper and Printing Industry: Inconsistency in paper rolls, inaccurate registration, severe ink absorption, and even paper bonding are affecting production.

(4) Textile Industry: Leads to issues such as floating filaments, broken threads, and tangled yarns.

(5) Plastic Coating: Plastic products have a high electrostatic charge, which easily attracts dust, affecting the appearance and quality of the coated workpiece.

Electrostatic discharge-induced component breakdown damage is a widespread and severe static hazard in the electronics industry, which is divided into hard breakdown and soft breakdown. Hard breakdown causes a one-time failure, burnout, or permanent damage to the component's dielectric; soft breakdown, on the other hand, leads to the degradation of the device's performance or a decrease in its parameters.

Frictional charging and human static electricity are two major hazards in the electronics and microelectronics industry, but the issue is not the generation of static electricity; it lies in the accumulation of static and subsequent static discharge. Therefore, control is essential.
