Seamless steel tubes are made by piercing a solid round steel billet, resulting in tubes without any visible welds on the surface. They are categorized into hot-rolled, cold-rolled, cold drawn, extruded, and jacking seamless tubes based on production methods. According to cross-sectional shape, they are divided into round and non-round types, with non-round shapes including square, elliptical, triangular, hexagonal, melon-shaped, star-shaped, and winged tubes, among others. The diameter ranges from 4mm to 900mm. Depending on their application, they are available in thick-walled and thin-walled versions. Seamless steel tubes are primarily used for oil and gas geological drilling pipes, cracking pipes for petrochemical use, boiler tubes, bearing tubes, and high-precision structural tubes for automotive, tractor, and aviation applications.
