Seamless steel pipes are pipes formed by piercing a solid round steel bar, with no seams on the surface, hence the name "seamless pipe." According to the production method, seamless pipes can be categorized into hot-rolled, cold-rolled, cold drawn, extruded, and jacked pipes. In terms of cross-sectional shape, they are divided into round and non-round types, with non-round shapes including square, elliptical, triangular, hexagonal, melon-shaped, star-shaped, and winged pipes, among others. The diameter ranges from 4mm to 900mm. Depending on their application, they are available in thick-walled and thin-walled versions. Seamless pipes are primarily used for oil and gas geological drilling pipes, cracking pipes for petrochemical use, boiler tubes, bearing tubes, and high-precision structural pipes for automotive, tractor, and aviation use.
