Compensator

Pipe compensators are categorized into several major types, such as metal bellows compensators, non-metal compensators, sleeve compensators, and rectangular compensators. Metal bellows compensators and non-metal compensators are more commonly used.

The metal bellows compensator consists of the bellows (an elastic element) forming its working body, along with accessories such as end pipes, brackets, flanges, conduits, etc. It is a type of compensation element. By utilizing the effective expansion and contraction deformation of the bellows, it can absorb size changes in pipelines, conduits, containers, etc., caused by thermal expansion and contraction, or compensate for the axial, lateral, and angular displacements of pipelines, conduits, and containers. It can also be used for noise reduction and vibration damping. It is widely used in modern industry.

2. Non-metallic compensators can compensate for pipe axial, lateral, and angular displacements, featuring no thrust, simplified support design, corrosion resistance, high-temperature resistance, noise reduction, and vibration damping. They are particularly suitable for hot air ducts and dust pipes.
