Insulating Tube Support

Pipe supports are the connecting components between the steel or concrete supports and the pipeline, serving as supports (shelves) for the pipeline and representing a type of bracket.

High-density pipe supports are mainly composed of isocyanates and polyether, along with foaming agents, catalysts, and fire retardants. They are produced through a high-speed mixing and reaction process, resulting in a foamed polymer with characteristics of plastic, rubber, and cork.

Insulation tubes are also categorized into insulated (or cooled) and uninsulated types.

Uninsulated is simply called "support," used primarily for pipelines at room temperature.

Typically, pipe supports with sliding and guiding designs use PTFE boards sliding against PTFE boards, or white steel plates sliding against PTFE boards, to reduce friction coefficients. This decreases the binding stress of the pipe supports on the pipeline during deformation or displacement, and aims to minimize relative movement between the pipe supports and the pipeline.
