Insulating pipe supports are an important component in energy conservation and emission reduction of current thermal network pipelines. Proper selection and rational arrangement of insulating pipe supports during pipeline system design not only improve the stress distribution of pipelines and the force exerted on pipe supports, ensuring safe operation of the pipeline system, but also enhance energy utilization and save valuable resources. With the expansion of centralized heating coverage, the pipelines for transporting steam are becoming longer, and the resulting heat loss is increasing. As the main component of heat loss in insulated pipelines, pipe supports must be integrated with the overall insulation of the pipeline through structurally designed insulating supports, using new composite insulation steel materials. This approach fundamentally eliminates the formation of "thermal bridges," achieving the goal of energy conservation.

Traditional insulated pipeline supports are not insulating, and their exposed state causes significant energy consumption, which has attracted sufficient attention from relevant departments. From the perspective of insulation, ordinary pipeline supports, as exposed pipeline components, not only lose energy by radiating outward, but also, as a thermal bridge, form a temperature gradient heat transfer field by contacting steel supports and other components, directly losing heat to the atmosphere. Taking a 200℃ steam pipeline as an example, under normal temperatures, the heat loss caused by ordinary pipeline supports accounts for 3/5 of the total heat loss of the insulated pipeline. Additionally, the thermal conduction of non-insulating supports leads to temperature gradients in the pipeline steel supports, causing electrochemical corrosion and shortening the service life of the steel supports.
