Compensator

Pipe compensators are categorized into several main types: metal bellows compensators, non-metal compensators, sleeve compensators, rectangular compensators, etc. Metal bellows compensators and non-metal compensators are more commonly used.

The metal bellows compensator is composed of the bellows (an elastic element) that forms its working body, along with accessories such as end pipes, brackets, flanges, conduits, etc. It is a type of compensating element. It utilizes the effective expansion and contraction deformation of the bellows to absorb size changes in pipelines, conduits, containers, etc., caused by thermal expansion and contraction, or to compensate for the axial, lateral, and angular displacements of pipelines, conduits, and containers. It can also be used for noise reduction and vibration damping. It has a wide range of applications in modern industry.

Non-metallic compensators can compensate for pipeline axial, lateral, and angular displacements, featuring no thrust, simplified support design, corrosion resistance, high-temperature resistance, noise reduction, and vibration damping. They are particularly suitable for hot air ducts and dust pipes.
