Instrument Overview

1 Working Principle

    This instrument is based on the reflection principle of electromagnetic waves during transmission and the principle of electromagnetic induction, combined with digital filtering. High-tech products designed for wireless reception and software control.

Electromagnetic Induction: Its basic working principle involves a transmitter generating electrical and magnetic waves, which are then transmitted to underground metallic pipelines through various transmission connections. Upon detecting the electromagnetic waves, the metallic pipelines induce a current on their surface. This induced current propagates along the metallic cables to a distance. During this propagation, the current radiates electromagnetic waves back towards the ground through the cables. When the underground pipeline tester's receiver detects these waves on the ground directly above the metallic pipelines, the variations in the received signal strength allow for the determination of the location and direction of the underground pipelines.

The principle's realization conditions: Firstly, there must be a signal source capable of emitting sufficient electrical energy, forming an electric current in the transmission line designed for electrical power. As the current flows, it generates a magnetic field around the line; secondly, there must be a circuit capable of receiving this specific magnetic field, displaying the changes in the magnetic field as electrical signals.
