Technical Features

The SF6 Comprehensive Tester integrates the SF6 Microwater Analyzer, SF6 Purity Analyzer, and SF6 Decomposition Product Analyzer into one unit, consolidating the functionalities that were previously performed by three separate instruments into a single device.

The SF6 Comprehensive Tester performs three measurements in a single field measurement, significantly reducing gas consumption in the equipment by saving two-thirds of the gas in one measurement. It also reduces the workload for users, enhancing work efficiency.

Quick and Gas-Efficient: After booting into measurement mode, the SF6 dew point detection time for each gas separator is approximately 5 minutes, while the measurement time for SF6 purity and SF6 decomposition products is around 2 minutes.

Self-locking Connector: Equipped with original German imported self-locking connectors, ensuring safety and reliability with no leakage.

Data Storage: Designed with high capacity, capable of storing up to 200 sets of test data.

 Curve Function: Large-screen curve display for dew point measurement process.

Clear Display: The LCD screen directly displays dew point, moisture (ppm), SO2, H2S, and CO content, along with environmental temperature, humidity, time, and date.

Built-in Power Supply: Equipped with a 4Ah rechargeable lithium battery, it can operate continuously for 10 hours after a single full charge.

Measurement

1. Connect SF6 Equipment

Ensure the threaded end of the measuring pipe is securely connected to the switch connector, tighten it with a wrench, and then close the needle valve at the other end of the measuring pipe.

Insert one end of the quick connector on the test pipeline into the sampling port of the comprehensive tester; connect the exhaust pipeline to the exhaust outlet.

Ensure the switch connector is properly connected to the SF6 electrical equipment's measuring interface and tighten with a wrench.

2. Initialization

Turn on the instrument's power switch, and the instrument enters the initialization self-check process.

Check the battery power

This instrument is recommended for use with alternating current.

When using DC power, please check the battery level displayed in the upper right corner. If the battery is below approximately 20%, please shut down, charge, and then continue using.

4. Measurement begins

The ED0607 SF6 Comprehensive Tester automatically switches to the measurement mode after completing the initialization self-check (toggle between the main measurement page and dew point measurement page by pressing the "left" and "right" buttons). At this point, open the flow valve on the front panel of the comprehensive tester and then adjust the needle valve on the measurement pipeline.

The first measurement (SF6 moisture) requires 5 to 10 minutes, with subsequent measurements taking 3 to 5 minutes each.

When measuring the SF6 dew point individually, adjust the flow to approximately 0.5 L/min.

When measuring SF6 purity, H2S, SO2, and CO content, the flow rate should be adjusted to approximately 0.1L/min.

5. Storage Data

Once the equipment measurement is completed, save the data in the instrument, then press the "OK" button to bring up the operation menu. Specific operation instructions are detailed in the next section.

6. Measurement completed.

Shut off the needle valves on the measurement pipeline and the regulating valves on the ED0607 SF6 comprehensive tester.

Remove the connector from the SF6 electrical equipment. If you need to continue measuring other devices, do not turn off the power to the instrument and proceed with the steps above for the next measurement.

After the measurement is complete, turn off the power to the comprehensive tester.
