I. Overview

The Interfacial Tensiometer conforms to the GB6541-86 "Determination of Interfacial Tension of Petroleum Products Between Oil and Water (Ring Method)" standard, measuring the surface tension of various liquids (liquid-gas interface) and the interfacial tension between mineral oils and water (liquid-liquid interface).

The Interface Tension Tester features a large-screen dot matrix LCD display, with menu prompts in full Chinese characters and unmarked keys. It boasts high automation, reliable operation, excellent repeatability, and extremely simple operation. Just follow the menu prompts after turning it on to complete the entire test.

III. Working Principle

The working principle of the interface tensile tester involves applying a high-frequency induction micro-displacement automatic balancing measurement system to a torque balance, where the force applied to the platinum ring changes. This causes the balancing rod connected to the platinum ring to produce displacement within two eddy current probes, altering the inductance generated in the probes. This change leads to the differential transformer losing balance, and subsequently, the input signal of the differential amplifier in the circuit becomes unbalanced. After amplification by the amplifier, an electrical signal that varies with the force on the platinum ring is output. This signal is then processed by a microprocessor, and the actual tension of the tested sample is automatically calculated in accordance with the international GB6541 standard.
