III. Working Principle
The EDZL-3 interfacial tension tester employs a working principle that integrates a high-frequency induction micro-displacement automatic balance measurement system into a torque balance. As the force acting on the platinum ring changes, the balance rod connected to the platinum ring produces displacement in two eddy current probes. This displacement alters the inductance in the two probes, causing a differential transformer to lose balance. Consequently, the differential amplifier's input signal in the circuit also loses balance. After amplification, an output electrical signal that varies with the force on the platinum ring is generated, which is then sent to a microprocessor for processing. The actual tension of the tested sample is automatically calculated in accordance with the international standard GB6541.
