A carbon dioxide incubator is an experimental instrument for culturing cells, tissues, and bacteria. It is applied in the research and production of microbiology, agricultural science, and pharmacology.

The temperature in the CO2 incubator is maintained by heating the water in the water jacket with an electric heating element, which is then monitored for temperature changes by the in-box temperature sensor to keep the internal temperature constant at the set temperature. The internal temperature is typically set around 37°C ± 0.2°C. During the heating process, the heating signal light remains on. Once the incubator reaches and stabilizes at the set temperature, the heater stops heating, and the signal light turns off.
The concentration of the CO2 incubator is monitored by a CO2 concentration sensor.
The CO2 sensor is used to detect the CO2 concentration inside the box and transmit the detection results to control devices such as control electric appliances and solenoid valves. If the CO2 concentration inside the box is found to be low, the solenoid valve will automatically open, allowing CO2 to enter the box until the concentration reaches the set level. At this point, the solenoid valve closes, cutting off the CO2 inside the box, achieving a stable state. The gas mixing pump thoroughly mixes the CO2 gas at the bottom of the box with air, injects it evenly back into the box, thus avoiding the phenomena of CO2 stratification or uneven distribution.
The CO2 sampling tube collects a gas mixture of CO2 and air from inside the box and transfers it to the sampling port on the machine's external panel, allowing for real-time detection of CO2 concentration with the CO2 concentration meter to ensure it meets the required level.
