Laboratory Mini Spray Dryer CN-8000Y, Feed Quantity: 2 Liters
Small spray dryer, mainly used for producing trace particle powders in laboratories of universities, research institutes, and food, pharmaceutical, and chemical enterprises. It is broadly applicable to all types of solutions such as emulsions and suspensions. Suitable for drying heat-sensitive materials like biological products, biopesticides, and enzyme preparations. Since the material is only heated when it is atomized into mist-like particles, it only experiences a brief heat exposure, thus maintaining the active components of these materials intact after drying.
Key Features:
● Laboratory small spray dryer features a colorful large touch screen for operation, combining full automatic and manual control
● Shutdown Protection Function: Simply press the Stop button during shutdown, the machine will immediately cease operation except for the fan, ensuring that the heating section will not be damaged due to improper operation (forcefully turning off the fan).
● Full Automatic Control: One-touch startup, after setting the spray process parameters, the temperature reaches the preset level, the peristaltic pump automatically starts, the touch screen displays the operation animation, and the process is clearly shown; to shut down, simply press the stop button, and the machine will automatically power off safely.
● The spray, drying, and collection system is made from transparent borosilicate heat-resistant glass, ensuring the drying process is conducted in a pollution-free environment.
●Manual Control: Easily switch to manual mode during the experiment for adjusting process parameters; the entire experiment process is dynamically displayed on a color touch screen (with animation).
● Two-fluid spray atomization structure, the whole machine is made of stainless steel, compact design, no auxiliary equipment required.
●Equipped with an imported oil-free air compressor, the particle size of the powder spray is normally distributed, with excellent fluidity and low noise, less than 60db, meeting laboratory noise standards.
● The design of the dry temperature control adopts real-time adjustment PID constant temperature control technology, ensuring accurate temperature control across the entire temperature range with ±1℃ heating and temperature control precision.
● Equipped with a nozzle cleaner (needle), which automatically clears blockages in the nozzle and can adjust the needle frequency automatically.
To maintain the purity of the samples, an air intake filter is equipped.
● The dried finished product is a dry powder with a relatively uniform particle size, with over 95% of the powder within the same particle size range.
●The feed volume can be adjusted via the feed蠕动pump, with sample quantities ranging from 50 to 2000ml.
● Imported spray nozzles with high efficiency. Colorful LCD touch screen parameters display: Inlet temperature/Outlet temperature/Metering pump speed/Airflow/Needle frequency.
● Compact spray dryer for sticky materials features a nozzle cleaner (needle). It automatically clears clogs in the nozzle; the needle's frequency can be automatically adjusted.
● Innovative tower wall blowing device, with higher material recovery rate.

Laboratory Spray Dryer Applications in the Food Industry
The application range of the laboratory spray dryer is very wide, suitable for the food and pharmaceutical industries, milk powder, egg yolks, soy sauce, coffee, starch, protein, hormones, serum, antibiotics, enzymes, spices, extracts, organic chemistry fields, waxes, dyes, detergents, surfactants, pesticides, preservatives, synthetic resins, pigments, and inorganic chemistry fields such as ferrates, ceramics, toner for copying, magnetic materials, metal powders, photo-sensitive materials, various industrial chemicals, sample waste liquids, and development fields for fuel cells used in automotive and marine propulsion.
Some plants lose their nutritional components due to high temperatures, making laboratory spray drying with freeze drying an effective method for concentration and preservation for these plants. However, certain plants require specific temperatures to eliminate toxicity, making spray drying technology the most ideal for them. For instance, soybeans require a certain temperature during their concentration process to remove a substance called trypsin inhibitors.
Spray drying is often the final step in the manufacturing process, where laboratory spray dryers transform substances from liquids to powders through continuous spraying, mixing, and drying. Among the various food storage techniques, spray drying boasts unique advantages. Since the temperature used in this laboratory spray dryer is not overly high, it effectively removes microbial contamination while still preserving the taste, color, and nutritional value of the food.
The laboratory spray dryer's air passes through a filter and heater, then enters the air distributor at the top of the laboratory spray dryer, where the hot air spirals in evenly. The liquid material is pumped from the liquid tank through a filter to the centrifugal atomizer at the top of the dryer. The laboratory spray dryer sprays the liquid into tiny mist droplets, where it comes into contact with the hot air, causing the moisture to evaporate rapidly and dry into the finished product within a short time. The finished product is discharged from the bottom of the drying tower and the cyclone separator, while the exhaust gas is expelled by the fan.
Laboratory spray dryers typically use the spray drying method to remove moisture from raw materials. In addition, laboratory spray dryers have various other applications, such as altering the size, shape, or density of substances, assisting in the addition of other ingredients during production, and aiding in the production of products with stringent quality standards.
Common classifications of spray dryers include small-scale aqueous solution spray dryers, low-temperature spray dryers, organic solvent spray dryers, and freeze spray dryers.
